Whirling Dervish: Original acrylic painting by Shireen Sardar on stretched canvas. Painting has texture and lots of movement in the strokes. The Arabic calligraphy writing means : "Allah is the one"(Allah is the Arabic word for God). The facial features of the whirling dervish have been kept obscure on purpose since the focus of the paining is the Arabic calligraphy writing in the paining.
